Hall of Legends: Jorm

Hall of Legends: Jorm

/stumbles up to platform. The pantsless tuxedo now basically a tattered, bloody rag. This zombie reeks of cheap bourbon and death.

Today we’re here to honor two zombies so old and so ill-tempered that they make me look like Hanna Montana. Both of this month’s inductees have parted ways with the RRF, but both are legends, both served in the Front in the glory days of yore and both are behind pretty much only Petro in their importance to this horde. So I give you our inductees…

Jorm

Jorm’s done a damn lot for this horde and for zombies all over Malton. When the original desensitized forum collapsed, he set up forums.ridelybank.org. He basically invented the modern strike team and most of the strike tactics that any strike team uses to this day even though his strike team never existed. The Barhah Brigade, if it existed, would have been an awe-inspiring strike team. It would have materialized out of thin air, ripped any barricades to shreds, emptied a building (a lot of this was pre-ransack you youngsters) and just as quickly disappeared. Leaving no harman standing. Well, at least you could imagine that. Every single strike team in the RRF owes an enormous debt to the Barhah Brigade… which never existed.

While to those who don’t know Jorm or have managed to get on his bad side before getting to really know him may see him as rude and ill-tempered, his friends will tell you that he’s rude, ill-tempered and knows how to have a good time. He always got results, was always looking for fun new ways to play the game and always looking to kill some harmanz and eat some brains.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Jorm’s legendary ethical purity. I myself have likened him to Ian MacKaye or 17th century Puritans at certain points for his utter refusal to play the game except for the way he believes it should be played. Specifically that members of a zombie horde should only play as zombies. It was this ethical purity that lead him and the RRF to grow apart. However, instead of throwing a hissy fit and throwing us off of his forum, he formed his own kickass group and let us do our own thing. He’s always gone out of his way to let people have fun and do their thing, even if he didn’t want in on it.

Oh, and he’s also Lemmy Kilmister’s twin brother.

Oh, and he’s also the creator of some other game.
